One Bright Pearl

Sculptor Lindy Lee’s One Bright Pearl can be seen in the circular drive in front of Children’s Pavilion. The large metal globe will soon have lights shining through patterns cut into its surface, making a beautiful presentation, particularly at night.

One interpretation of One Bright Pearl at Children’s Pavilion tells the story of how a beautiful pearl can be created out of the injury that occurs within an oyster. To us, every child who enters our facility who has experienced pain, injury, or trauma can be the bright pearl that emerges from the most challenging of circumstances.
